RINO Degnan accepts ultra-liberal endorsement PDF Print E-mail
ALBANY, NY – John Degnan – the Republican-In-Name-Only (RINO) has accepted the endorsement of the ultra-liberal Working Families Party, further degrading any shred of legitimacy for Degnan’s quixotic Republican Primary bid.

The Working Families Party supports a radical agenda of drug decriminalization, gay marriage and giving driver’s licenses to illegal aliens.  The party – funded and fueled by left-wing activists like billionaire George Soros – was the driving force behind the job elimination tax advanced earlier during the Legislative session.

“I’ve heard of a politician trying to have it both ways, but three ways?  John Degnan has lowered the bar,” said Joshua Fitzpatrick, Spokesman for the Republican Assembly Campaign Committee (RACC).

“The Working Families Party is to the far left of Barbara Streisand – they make San Francisco liberal Nancy Pelosi look like Newt Gingrich.  Why would John Degnan align himself with the same people who think it’s a good idea in a post-9/11 world to give illegal aliens driver’s licenses?   It just boggles the mind.  Just what are John Degnan’s core values, besides looking out for the good old boys who are propping up his long-shot candidacy?” Fitzpatrick asked.

“Degnan’s greedy acceptance of the endorsement from the Westchester County Democratic Party and now the ultra-liberal Working Families Party would make even Gordon Gekko blush,” said Fitzpatrick.

“By graciously accepting the endorsement of the Working Families Party, John Degnan has shown that the worth of his word hovers around junk bond status.  You won’t find a bigger RINO than John Degnan, even on safari.  Republicans should send Degnan a message that their votes aren’t to be used as bargaining chips in his political game,” Fitzpatrick concluded.

Accountability

Failed Brewster Mayor John Degnan has promised that if elected to higher office, he will work to bring accountability to government. Perhaps he should first explain how his plan to quadruple taxes by installing water meters and hiking fees resulted in a million dollar accounting error! This occurred on his watch, and could have cost taxpayers millions. Read More

Pride of ownership

Failed Brewster Mayor John Degnan often speaks of pride of ownership. If he is referring to using public office for personal benefit, that could help to explain how his brother-in-law received a raise as village attorney while Degnan was in office, how his contracting firm landed village deals, or how his nonprofit received an official village partnership. Respectability

Failed Brewster Mayor John Degnan swore to run a positive campaign based on issues, yet after all this time, no one knows where he stands. All that's left is his record of failures and a vague statement about returning respectability to government. Why, then, has he been publicly attacking veterans who were restructured into the reserve?. Read More
